Equality & Diversity Policy (UAE)

Our Commitment

We Make Footballers acknowledges its responsibility to ensure that our standards and values apply within each We Make Footballers Academy at every level. By working with children between the ages of 4 and 12+, we aim to make football as accessible as possible to every child who chooses to join.

Our Equality and Diversity Policy exists to ensure that every child, coach, and customer is treated fairly and with respect in all of our activities.

Equal Opportunities & Inclusion

We Make Footballers, along with our independently owned and operated franchise locations, is committed to encouraging equality and diversity and eliminating unlawful discrimination across our network.

We work to create a welcoming environment for our entire team and all participants. We are committed to promoting inclusion and confronting discrimination in accordance with UAE law on the grounds of:

Furthermore, as part of our core values, we are dedicated to confronting discrimination based on socioeconomic background. We Make Footballers and its franchises comply with all applicable UAE anti-discrimination laws, including Federal Law No. 2 of 2015 (Anti-Discrimination and Hatred Act) and Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 (UAE Labour Law).

Safe Participation & Accommodations

We Make Footballers is an active, physical sports programme. While we welcome children of all backgrounds and abilities, participants must be able to safely engage in the physical activities required by the sport. We will make reasonable accommodations for People of Determination, provided those accommodations do not fundamentally alter the nature of the programme or create a health and safety risk for the child, our coaches, or other participants.

Zero Tolerance for Harassment & Retaliation

We Make Footballers will not tolerate harassment of any kind, including bullying, abuse, discrimination, or victimisation of any participant, staff member, or family. Any such behaviour will be treated as a serious disciplinary matter.

Furthermore, we strictly prohibit retaliation against any individual who reports a concern in good faith or participates in an investigation under this policy.

Football for Everyone

We Make Footballers believes in creating positive change through football and advocates that it is a sport for all. We are dedicated to building an environment where every child feels welcome, valued, and supported.

Reporting a Concern

Each We Make Footballers academy is an independently owned and operated franchise. If you believe you have experienced or witnessed discrimination or harassment, your first point of contact should be the local Franchise Owner of your specific academy.

If your concern cannot be resolved locally, or if you need to escalate an issue to our head office, please contact us directly at info@wemakefootballers.com. All reports will be taken seriously and handled confidentially.
